Payam Banazadeh is the founder and CEO of Capella Space, a commercial satellite company providing 24-hour, all-weather Earth observation using Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). Capella Space is the first U.S. company to offer this data and hopes to help humanity obtain a clear and accurate picture of the planet.

Capella’s SAR satellites are unique in their ability to provide near real-time visibility in cloud covered areas, both day and night.

Capella Space recently made headlines when its technology was able to show the movement of Russian ground forces during the Russia-Ukraine war.
